from my testing with hi ratio rockers on both 6 & 8 cylinder cars it's around 10-15% gains in different areas & unfortunately 10% of 110 rwKw isn't as much as 10% of 220 rwKw!

I know it sounds simple but yeah spending that money on a 6 seems a bit silly to me & I do tell my possible customers that too!

i guess at the end of the day the end result is determined by how much the current rockers are effecting everything .... if they are the restriction in the system then yes you will notice a big gain, and 10% is a good improvement no matter what the engine is ..... but then if there is something like intake or exhaust restricting the engine then no rocker increase is going to help as much!

from what i've heard this upgrade is mostly done on S/C v6's and in this motor that offers a significant improvement in valve opening and hense would see more benefit that a non boosted motor

Well just for comparison i was tuning another vs v6, stock but with 210°/210° cam and extractors/exhaust, it was doing 620cylair then with timing tuned it went to 660cylair, so thinking basicly around the mid 600 mark is max unless headwork is done or FI. i came home late Friday night and my log with the colder air 14c got to 650. Had a little more go.

well ive gone back to stock vs v6 tune, seems there's something in the supercharged tune even with supercharger and fuel pump speed control flags turned off it was randomly spiking down to 10afr under WOT even with the tune all adjusted.

Anyway so have tuned up the N/A bin i had when on the dyno last time, it's defiantly working better now, running consistent 7.5sec 0-100 on the same road when i used to get 8.0 before rockers.

Cylair is now up around 680!! So will be dyno time again soon.
