Including the cost of the t56, mal wood conversion kit and the brass/organic clutch plate(I already had the billet flywheel and pressure plate and factory manual clubby) it's only cost me about 2200 and that's without selling the t5 stuff too.

I got my T-56 for $1000, $400 for clutch, $350 for flywheel and $150 for hurst shifter. As it's in a HQ I had to put in a 2peice tailshaft because of the 4:11's and double overdrive but that was only $450 all up so for the $$$ I've put in I'm very happy. Mal wood wanted over $6000 for the same thing and that was without the tailshaft

Ok so progress on the clubby had almost come to a dead halt due to the mrs walking out on me so i had to do the whole refinance and settlement thing... but anyway, ive now got a new flip face touch screen android head unit coming that ill use for Aldldroid logging & tuning (and real time dash) on the old girl.
And the 355 install has been slowed cos of fkn vicroads not allowing the hq 308 block that i've used for the build to be registered in my vs due to it being a "non pollution engine" so i picked up another vs stroker block to put my std internals (apart from new rings, bearings, 286 cam & lifters ect lol) and modified heads & manifold on to sell as a complete engine while my original clubby block gets machined for the 355 bottom end(also saves me pulling into vicroads to change engine numbers with a big harrop manifold, 4 barrel throttle body & air filter hanging through the bonnet haha)
Will update more later on!

Update!
Car is currently in the shed almost at the end of the 355 conversion just doing the final touches now and hope to fire up the big girl tomorrow!
Extractors and exhaust turned out to be a headache as the big bore pacemakers hit on everything and needed tweaking and cutting and shutting the twin 3inch vt system to suit the vs took way longer than anticipated.
Can't wait to hear this beast roar!

Update

Holy shit I should've done the 355 earlier! Fuck it's good fun and revs to 8000rpm but geez I got a racecar now! Haha

Since the engines been in I've added the bigger air cleaner and a 2in carb spacer which made it snappier and more responsive and also removed the vq vp rear control arms for vs arms and showtime customs camber boxes with zero offset outer bushes which gave me -1.5deg camber on sssl springs and grouse traction and cornering with no chance of stripping camber kits now!

Now let's see how long I can keep my licence for? Cos fk it's loud with the twin 3ins and according to the datalogs of the 42lb injectors shows 80+% duty cycle estimates almost 550hp so I get excited easy! :driving:

CLUBBY EVOLUTION! LOL
Well... so driving 550hp of high comp solid cammed manual 355 is all good fun but it doesn't like going slow and she keeps telling me to get up it lol :driving:

so the fix to this problem is me sourcing bits to ls swap my clubby haha but typical Rob fashion it snowballed before it began :wall:

but anyway the crown jewel is a brand new Eaton m122 off a supercharged 2010 Shelby mustang and a mix of L67 and 6/71 bits being put together in the donor vy sv8, hopefully will have it running in the next week or so after getting my 1150cc injectors and blower manifold welded and adapted... aiming for around 12psi on a 25% u/d balancer and 2.4in top pulley on the std eng but have some forged pistons and rods waiting to be put in and a 10% o/d 8pk supercharger balancer and chunky blower cam with water/meth injection it should net a theoretical 21psi boost.

Should be REAL good fun to drive then! :punk:
