sure is, its a major fucking ass rapage. if you have multiple cars you should only pay one rego. you can't drive multiple cars at the same time.

That's so true and it should be based on usage, paying full rego for a dozen outing a year is a joke.

Got the new mount machined and installed.

Now its secure and perfectly level, that is a precision level. 0.1m per m per division. More surprised how level the concrete is haha

I tested it and there is no more vibration than there was with one solid mount. Objectively less than my VR with stock mounts and balance shaft delete and no rebalance.

Just shows how good an engine can be with a high accuracy balancing done. There is a few light harmonic areas with the worst being a slight buzz at 5000rpm but nothing much more than a stock factory car.

Also finished off the console by installing the shifter surround and boot.

My barrier sheets arrived. Worked out great.

Got 3 out of 4 doors finished.

Attached them with butyl mastic sealant. First I got the location right and taped up the top edge, then flipped it up, applied the sealant and then let the sheet swing down into place. That way you won't make a mess with the butyl trying to adjust the sheet.

Just need to finish off the front left door, contemplating to swap that with the other VP bomb as it happens to be mark and damage free on that car while the other 3 in the red car are pretty mint. I also have a NOS door pocket to swap on that trim, both cars left pockets are cracked.

Finished! And I did end up swapping the trim from the other car, was worth the effort. No more torn off vinyl bits.
IMG_1068.JPG

Interior looks much more complete with the door trims done. Just need to get those rear seats sorted and I can at least get a roady and club rego done.

Last things to do...

Rear seat install after the arm rest gets fixed

Make up the rear boot carpet.

AC gas

Dyno tune

Swap boot lid with new painted one.
