Only thing I see out of place is the alternator not charging and it could be messing with fueling due to injector voltage offset settings as well as the fuel pump running slower than at 14v which also has settings in the ecu to suit.its lean later in the log under throttle too
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Awesome, that's somewhere to start :)

The alternator died on Classic Adelaide and this is a new one (second hand new one) so it might actually be an issue with the wiring for it and might explain why it randomly revs itself too.

I've attached the log from last night too where the car was running pretty well, temp sat smack bang on 80 and it pulled up the freeway well. Still a little rich and revving randomly but feels like we're on a winner!

I'll update the thread after the weekend with some more pics if I remember ;)

Thanks guys!

Also, @delcowizzid - where is the fuel pump voltage setting? I've searched for that before and couldn't find it?

Thanks

Good to see the Datsun is up and running again after its gasket fail. Looks like you have been having some good fun with it in events.

The fuel settings delcowizzid is talking about are for injector opening time (Injector - Injector Bias vs Battery Voltage and Injector - Injector bias add-on vs Injector pulse width), you need to have the injectors characterised to get the data to enter. You might be able to find it online if they are a common injector.

And... we made Tailem Bend on the weekend for the GT sprint.

We weren't the slowest car there by a long shot and we had zero issues and just a great time had by all. Now running S13 coilovers and Nankang AR-1s which made for a much more dynamic package on the day if a little lacking in HP... NOW, it's time for the dyno :cash:

If anyone gets the chance to drive the long track at The Bend Motorsport Park, do it. It's like driving in Forza or GT. The track is wide and undulating and full of super cars ;)

it doesn't happen often but when you have a weekend where you just get in and drive with no issues, its really a great experience!

i had a time when my race car was so reliable i just drove and drove, almost forgot to check the fuel it was so carefree hehehe!

Ross was able to compete in the classic challenge category of the Adelaide rally this year, with upgraded suspension and nice new top feed injectors. The car, driver and navigator held up in every stage of the 4 day challenge which led to achieving an overall 4th in the classic challenge category :) They're hitting the 130kph speed limit which is creating some new challenges as time penalties apply and are already planning the improvements for next year. Great work! Some footage here:

I should mention their sponsors - Swan Ignition coils, who may have been a little confused when they requested 6 ls1 coils for the VG30E, but they still delivered, and they worked well. The car is still running a Nissan optical CAS on a VL400 ignition module on 12P.

The competition class doesnt, but the challenge class does. See here for the different categories: https://adelaidemotorsportfestival.com. ... ide-rally/
