nah, not a chance mate. theres plenty of other WAY neater cars than the VT at sandown for the tampered and driver dynamics date dude. i will be the slowest car on the track i know that much!

you might be surprised!

I have a mate that regularly races at a local hill climb in VX Super 6 and he is on par of faster than the LS1 version of the same car, its certainly not HP that puts him ahead that's for sure!

I'm not referring to the organic factor I'm referring to the right car for the track.

generally a lighter car will brake and corner better than a heavier one so can make up a lot of ground in that area on a tank ..... but then obviously you have straights where a v8 can stretch its legs, all I'm trying to say is don't write yourself off just yet ..... but when you do write yourself off then just install a GT35 or something like that and you'll be sorted ;)

ah. so not the carbon factor ;)

funny you should mention that i have a china spec gt35 on my bench at home.
i don't have a steel sump i can punch a hole in and braze a return line in on the ecoshite. i have to drop the K and the sump for that action :|

GT35 does not belong on the bench!!

Looking good though, tidy build for a circuit racer. Got more mod cons than my daily
