Re: Gregs Fleet
I have the same, more spare ecotecs than Buick but ecotec is too much modifying to get the same level of goodness of the buick and is why I have spare ecotecs around as I gave up on them and didn't end up using any of them.
I am thinking of flogging off all the ecotec stuff at some point. A bit of NOS L32 stuff and what not. I'll keep the sumps though as they are a nice upgrade for the Buick.

Re: Gregs Fleet
They weren't cheap for me, they actually cost at the time much more than the Buick. I paid 500 for ecotecs and that was the best price at the time, normal wrecker price was 750.
Buicks were 200-300 on average. I acquired one free (non working) ecotec but over the years I got heaps of practically free buicks which I sold for profit. One of the ok ecotecs I got I have not been able to sell even with them being supposedly more expensive and in demand.

or corroded/leaking real main seal plate. or spun bearings. or pistons brittle as glass that shatter at the drop of a hat.

Re: Gregs Fleet
if anything is more in demand its the buicks due to the mang mang burnout brigade blowing them up constantly. not so much the ecotecs but theres a heap more ecotecs floating around.
also cheap are the later v6 with the timing change problems. people are giving them away.

Re: Gregs Fleet
I don't know about that. I had some 5L parts and a totally fucked engine and it sold instantly, had people fighting over it.
Can't sell ecotec for some reason, still stuck with all of mine. L27 Buick I can but takes a while to move now, LN3s sell shit easy as they have urban myths attached to them lol
