Didnt get booted either, new IHRA rules can go down to 10.0 without a cage if the car has airbags

I cant keep up with all that shit hopefully by the time my car is ready to race it will all be sorted out, either way, my car is 1953 so it will need a cage hahaha

Interesting news about the airbag policy. Pretty good.
Still running the 4l60e? Seams to be hanging on pretty well, im tunning a car a little more basic than this one and blew the standard auto the other day. Just looking at options.

Yeah still running the 4l60e And its shifting well. I havnt touched any line pressure or Force Motor tables in 11p yet, so i have a bit of room to increase pressure if i start to get any slip.

Update - Getting close to a 9 now!! Ran 3 10.0s in row same night best was 10.01@139.89MPH
Re: 95 VS 355 VORTECH V2
Also put an extra brace on the blower to the manifold to stop the bracket flexing and throwing the belt.
Havent had that problem since.

That's really crazy with the banana's manifold on there.
Gotta be happy with that, very tough little combo (who said side-mounts are no good?)

yeah pretty happy going to run with bannanas through this winter and see how far can push it, looking at maybe putting a come twin throttle or Harrop manifold. i reakon there will be some good gains in the top end!!
