i did manage to get the axles in tonight to see where they ended up, they are not hitting together so im happy with that

I blew the cob webs off the old diff jig and got her all setup for the FX length, and i got the majority of the tubes welded, i just need to remove it from the jig to do the bottoms, then i'll throw it into the car and setup the bars for tack welding the 4 link plates on!
