well I'm glad I regularly post pictures here, last night the SD card in the phone decided to stop working..... I'm not hopeful of a recovery :(

I know your the IT man but I have had some success with a freebie program called Recuva. Don't have any idea if it's dead. I am sure you have a backup.

The ultimate boot disk has many good tools like that, free to download, burn the ISO to CD/DVD and boot it up on a PC with the card in a reader. worth a shot. I had good success with SD cards and USB drives in the past.


Its basically just a collection of free DOS and linux based applications on a bootable disk including a number of recovery stuff.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

yep. or hirens or bart. they are amazing tools. also depends on whats happened to it.
if it was spinning rust you might be ok ; i've had to unbrick a seagate which got itself in knots due to a firmware bug, but anything sold state, i can only wish you the best of luck sammy.

yeah it doesn't even detect so I'm pretty sure its fucked .....

also for those of you that like ultimate boot cd, take a look at Gandolfs latest offering, its a pretty much windows 10 version of the ultimate boot cd, all great tools which I have used a lot at work, not so much for my sd card!

I did have a backup but it was a few months ago, like I said most anything of importance I have posted on the forum here or emailed so I do have access to those files.

was a shit drive to work today though without my mp3's!

maybe so but we'll also have a new born in sept so its going to have to wait another year! :(
