Theres no joke in it yet as im still waiting on a seal, and it needs a clean off and some paint, but shes all but done.

Tonight will put it in the car and locate it to weld the brackets in place then she'll be ready to strip and clean/paint!

Oh and mod the drain plug to be a smaller size hole to suit the diff cover.

As you can see i propper the reference up on a block of wood so you could see it haha!

Im personally a calrton dry lover, but i get the iron jack mids because i can have a few more without getting wasted, and i get 30 x 375 for ~$50 as apposed to 24 x 345 or whatever the drys are.

i do get them when i feel like spoiling myself though haha!

Diff setup looks real nice. Whats with the superlong wheel studs? are they to allow spacers? I have seen them used on lots of race cars and the reply I got once was it takes longer for the wheel to fall off if they come loose but that can't be right.

The proper 3 piece drag wheels are nearly an inch thick and the nuts need stud sticking out through them for tech

I do know with road cars the stud must be the full length of the nut to be legal so with 1 inch yea you would need long ones.

Well the diff is all in place and tack welded the 4 link brackets on, just need to radius the brackets for the sway bar then they can be tacked on then it can be removed for final welding!

Feeling very productive this week!

Yoke is now in the centre of the tunnel, and the wheel to guard clearance is about 10-12mm each side, which give me room to go from 10-11 inch slicks if needs be.
