add to that no matter how legal or correctly you try and do things, theres always cops that just want to harass you cause they can, i'm over that shit, its on a trailer and they cant touch me!

Yeah true some people get hassled but I'd still drive it on street just for the hell of it haha
Guess it depends where you live...never got hassled in tubbed sle cruising past cop shop on way to exhaust shop missing exhaust wearing earmuffs.

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
So dad sent me an updated picture
This is his best efforts to straighten all the dints and such and first skim of bog, you can see on the right hand side above the wheel arch theres been something run down it and put a very small mark in the panel from the headlight to the centre of the wheel arch, that was probably the worst of the dints.
I made up a panel for the boot, this area is higher than the chassis rails, so theres a step down to them on the edges.
Then I added this little section for the fuel tank to nicely mount in there.
I then decided I wanted to work on the transmission tunnel, so I got out my pro bending machine and set about making up a section.
This is stage one completed its level with the rear part of the tunnel and its pretty much sweet on the main part of it, stage 2 will be cutting some triangles out and blending it into the rear tunnel section.

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
Got enough of the tunnel in that I could finally install the shifter
I'm not 100% happy with how the tunnel ended up but it will do the job, once the gearbox is out it certainly needs some massaging from the bottom to fix a few odd bends!

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
Looks shit hot. It’s always going to be difficult to transition between those two shapes.

That turned out really well, the transition angles would be a nightmare!
