speaking of transitions - heres another one!
Should be enough room at the back to access anything I need, particularly removing tappet cover for tappet adjustments etc

You can also use paper to ‘map’ the change between shapes and mark where you need to shrink or stretch. If the paper folds then you need to shrink if you need to cut the paper then you need to stretch. Easier said than done though. I seen a guy on YouTube use this technique to make simple rear guards out of sheet steel.

The pentagon transmission tunnel. Fully agree with the cardboard till it's right. This car is getting to me. I had a dream about it.

1 cool build man i take my hat off to ya. that top part of the tunnel would be awesome if it was removable to get access to the top bell housing bolts and rear head studs/ manifold bolts.

Bell housing bolts will be accessible with long extension over the top of trans!
