Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
well I'm glad I regularly post pictures here, last night the SD card in the phone decided to stop working..... I'm not hopeful of a recovery

I know your the IT man but I have had some success with a freebie program called Recuva. Don't have any idea if it's dead. I am sure you have a backup.

The ultimate boot disk has many good tools like that, free to download, burn the ISO to CD/DVD and boot it up on a PC with the card in a reader. worth a shot. I had good success with SD cards and USB drives in the past.
Its basically just a collection of free DOS and linux based applications on a bootable disk including a number of recovery stuff.

yep. or hirens or bart. they are amazing tools. also depends on whats happened to it.
if it was spinning rust you might be ok ; i've had to unbrick a seagate which got itself in knots due to a firmware bug, but anything sold state, i can only wish you the best of luck sammy.

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
yeah it doesn't even detect so I'm pretty sure its fucked .....
also for those of you that like ultimate boot cd, take a look at Gandolfs latest offering, its a pretty much windows 10 version of the ultimate boot cd, all great tools which I have used a lot at work, not so much for my sd card!
I did have a backup but it was a few months ago, like I said most anything of importance I have posted on the forum here or emailed so I do have access to those files.
was a shit drive to work today though without my mp3's!

Looks like you'll have it ready for the 6 Banger Nats in September.
