so tonight while i am awaiting response back from ANDRA regarding the roll cage we moved to another part that needed doing which was to check and adjust the bump steer in my custom steering setup.

amazingly we managed to get approx 1mm more toe in from full droop to fully up (with no spring) so pretty happy with that its probably better than they were from the factory with their drag link setup!

we also squared up the front end with the rear of the car and it is now welded in place for good!

Definitely better, depending on how much suspension travel you're covering that's surprisingly low. Best I could manage with the Torana when I did the power steering conversion was ~2.5mm total (i.e. both sides) over 90% of the travel, which was still better than before I started. Changing the wheel alignment alters it again. If memory serves the spec for certification here is 10mm max!

oh really ? wow that's a lot!

bump to bump is about 110mm.

just to be clear we didn't measure it through the whole range just at the top and bottom of travel, so it may change through the travel.

I've seen some race cars pop wheelies off the line you can clearly see the toe out, that's the main thing i want to avoid!
