Shift a turbo350 to neutral at speed and then you see an explosion lol
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

That is just mechanical cruelty....

I would suggest a better shield as well. Coming from someone who had a lotus seven esk race car where the tail-shaft was right next it his hip (Nissan RB20 with 5 speed remote shifted) the uni let go at 220km/h and destroyed the tunnel and tried to eat my seat as well. was one of the few brown pants moments I have got rid of the car for.

I was thinking of doing this, but at least in Aus the ANDRA rule book says it needs to be removable for inspections etc so I chose the sheet tunnel and go for a ballistic blanket.

Got given this today 5mm alloy not exactly light but looks flash .probably won't use it

Out of a camaro lol I arseholed it out of the car and started amagineering a sheet metal one lol have to panelbeat my folds back in properly I had to shift it round a bit

But more done nearly time to do the driveshaft tunnel :D bit rough the welder is acting like the liner is borked again but soldier on I own a grinder lol

one thing i've found, try not to have any tight bends in the hose, locate the mig so you can make it as gradual bends as possible, certainly helps.

also if the tip gets too dirty it can cause it to grab when its hot.
