Glad to hear you're OK :D ...cars can be replaced..people can't...I'm with Toyhicko..looking into a fire extinguisher!!!...terrible to see so much hard work, effort and money go up in flames..both yours and Holden202's..but what is more important is that no-one was injured or worse... that would be tragic. ...

I think it's one of those things you think will never happen to you i have had a fire extinguisher in the shed for years never got around to putting it in the car but i will be now,
same goes for the ignition module on the v8 i have a spare but it isn't in the car where it should be  .
 come to think of it i don't even think i have a spare tyre in the boot.

so far we found 0 damage after it serverly overheated on the skidpan after blowing a welsh plug.bearings are fine and reused pistons all cleaned reused didnt even pop them out the block rings are good checked for broken ones with feeler gauges :D headgaskets perfectly intact.only replacements have been the cam bearings due to the new turbo cam going in should net us another 10-20% more hp .heads are ready to strip for port matching and valve lap job should be all back in 1 peice later in the week.and the big beast for the HQ wagon build
