That is just mechanical cruelty....delcowizzid wrote:Shift a turbo350 to neutral at speed and then you see an explosion lol
I would suggest a better shield as well. Coming from someone who had a lotus seven esk race car where the tail-shaft was right next it his hip (Nissan RB20 with 5 speed remote shifted) the uni let go at 220km/h and destroyed the tunnel and tried to eat my seat as well. was one of the few brown pants moments I have got rid of the car for.
Cheers

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
I was thinking of doing this, but at least in Aus the ANDRA rule book says it needs to be removable for inspections etc so I chose the sheet tunnel and go for a ballistic blanket.delcowizzid wrote:I'll do the whole bellhousing budge done in the thinner sheet first then I'll make the middle in 3mm so I don't need a seperate scatter sheild

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
one thing i've found, try not to have any tight bends in the hose, locate the mig so you can make it as gradual bends as possible, certainly helps.
also if the tip gets too dirty it can cause it to grab when its hot.
