Re: Project Rescue
Sorted the O rings for the cooling system fittings today whilst I had a bit of down time at work with a few spares.
The plan is to sort through all our old imperial cap screw stocks and see if we have enough to make up a new set of head bolts.- psyolent

Re: Project Rescue
Cheers mate.
TBH, I haven't made a lot of progress. I went back on shift, got sick for a few days and been playing plumber this weekend. Hopefully this week I'll have time to get it back together before my next shift later this week.

Re: Project Rescue
Bit of an update (or lack there off).
The exhaust valves in the other head didn't clean up as well as the first so I bit the bullet and ordered a new set of valves. Hopefully I'll have those in the next few days.

Re: Project Rescue
Well fuck me, thanks Covid.
My new exhaust valves arrived yesterday, only a month wait
Took the heads down to a local machinist to have the exhaust valve seats re-cut. Hopefully have those back by next week ready to assemble and bolt on.

Yep, very slow atm. And everything is so expensive, covid tax as I call it.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Definitely, stuff is either very hard to get or very expensive.
