Sorry no numbers on this dyno, as you can see in the above pics, there's no rollers in the dyno. Certainly produced a lot of smoke. :driving:

We put the car on a dyno last weekend to tune it, but I'm having trouble with staying connected to the laptop. Start the engine, use the flash tool to connect, then connect TP5. It would stay connected for several minutes, then "DATA ERROR" would appear at the bottom of TP5. I tried using several versions of the flash tool, also tried without the flash tool. On a couple of occasions the I closed TP5 & it wouldn't respond, even shut the laptop down, but nothing happened. Once I removed the USB cable the laptop shut down. The laptop is a sony using XP. The ECU & NVRam worked ok in my UC202 on the dyno, the only thing that was different was the tune for this engine.
While I was waiting for the laptop to reboot, we made 200 rwhp with this $12P tune. I tried the old tune to compere & was surprised with 229.5 rwhp, this was setup for the drilled std injectors so was very rich, but still made good hp. Hopefully some one can help.

Sounds like the usb hardware drivers are crashing. I did experience that on a netbook, same symptoms and had to unplug the usb to recover. Didnt find a solution though, as the laptop screen was too small to fit the dash properly anyway, so we moved to a different laptop (but same FTDI usb->serial) and all is well on that one.

yeah I've had USB problems like that using a netbook, disabling the WLAN / 3G Modem usually sorted things out.
I can record 16 channels of audio at 24bit/96khz with WLAN off, but if I attempt that with it on I will get regular blue screens of death.

The car had a run last weekend, 1st decent pass in a while, no gearbox probs, just running lots too rich but that's an easy fix. He has run a pb & 1st time in the 11s. Accept for a little red light  It ran 12.03 @ 111 mph of the trailer, then turned the extra injector off for an 11.94 @ 112.2 mph. Now it's time for a decent clutch as we think it's starting to slip.
It's the one in the left lane. :driving:
