Spot on, AE improved as it warmed up.

Correct on the boost solenoid, its wastegate pressure for now until the tune is there. Will get it on a dyno to wind some advance in then. WOT its running a craaaazy 5psi

Thanks for the link yoda, that Celica is mad. Followed the initial build many years ago, I hadnt kept up with the progress and has come a long way since then!

The VL with GTR gear is also a fav, have the scanned article too.

Really havnt kept this thread updated! Few bits and pieces changed but really just been driving and road tuning when its been nice sunny days.

Got one of these, still a small turbo but wanted it to drive well. GTX3582R with 1.15 rear.

Then decided to try LS2 coils for extra sparks as I was getting the odd spark blowout under load (0.8mm plug gap). No more issues.

And then strapped it down to the dyno. Boost dropping off as the intercooler becomes restrictive, so the red trace was on 10-11ish PSI below about 4500RPM dropping to 9PSI above that. Pre-cooler pressure sensor holds fairly stable, but goes from 2 to over 3.5PSI drop across the cooler as the RPM rises.
