Delco DAC Checksum

Post by stalgic »

Hi, I'm having problems with my Delco ECU, I was able to get the bin file from the eeprom memory, I modified ignition advance and fuel maps. But the car doesn't start i think is because of the Checksum , does anybody knows how to calculate it ?

The ECU is a DAC ZZMN from a 98 Daewoo Lanos with light blue conectors, the eeprom it's a 27c256.

looks like the checksum is $4-end of file range and saved at $2. Simple byte sum, saved at 16bit value.

You can try this bin. i fixed it for you to confirm it is working.
