Vauxhall Y17DT ecu.

Post by tooseyman »

Hi, does anybody have any info on the Delco hdrc (vauxhall Y17DT) ecu part number 12212819 / 8973065751. Having trouble identifying several chips inside this ecu as all seem to have custom part numbers which cannot be found anywhere. Especially the 8 pin soic which I think is some kind of voltage regulator with 1045A on first line and T212 on bottom line. A circuit diagram or schematic would be really helpful if anyone has one.

What are the 2 silver devices about 5mm square with 2 fine wires on top (mounted near the 2 black tantalum capacitors) I assume some kind of transistors? Have a couple of these ecu's which no longer power up since the backs were removed and I'm pretty sure these silver devices are dud.

Also where is the flash file stored in this ecu? There is a small eeprom which holds the immo data but flash file isn't in there.

Any help would be appreciated.

From a google of the part number it appears to be a fairly late model delphi ECU, and diesel too. Might need to post some pics of the internals of it...
