Big help

Post by GoranRi »

I need help in chooseing wright delco ecu to put in may Kadett c with opel 1.6 ohc ( c16se engine code ).
I hawe 2 delco ecus and they are both from 1.6 16v engines. Both have a knock sensor and they are dis engines with 60-2 trigher, cam sensor and egr. I dont need egr and cam sensor because i em doing race engine with throttle bodys and i need map sensor. I was runing this engine on bosch me ecu and it was workin fine with no problems.
This are pictures of ecu casings and insides.

Have you got definitions for either of them them? Do you have a way to flash the one that doesnt have a memcal?

If you have got definitions for the one with the BRDS memcal then use that one as it has a memcal. Looking around the internet BRDS does look like something people are tuning so if you can find details then go with that and please update this thread too.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

BRDS pt fuel map is a 16x11 at 396C, pt ignition is 17x11 at 4330 I think but there's two more pt ignition maps following it.
Rev limiter looks like it's at 3F9E.

One more question.
I have bosch ecu for may car but it is runing on maf sensor and i wont to run it on delco on map senso because i will run on throttle bodys. Bosch ecu was done by pro and it is runing great on the car but it was to hard to put it with throttle bodys.
This my sound stupid bit can i somehow transfer data from bosch to delco or read data from bosch and write it in delco.
Bosch ecu runs on same 60-2 triger, it has dis and knock sensor and it is eprom base ecu.

The Bosch ECU's tables can't be directly imported into the delco, but if you post the bin i'll be able to make you an xdf so you can view/extract the maps.

Here's a very basic XDF for your Bosch ECU.
Change Parameter tree view to 'category' in Tuner Pro, then have a look at the maps in the Fuel and Ignition groups.
Those part throttle fuel maps look really strange, was it tuned mainly for WOT?

You can say that. It was used for throttle bodys and big cams and it is not for standard engine.
Thenks for doing xdf for bosch can you make xdf for delco i em stupid wen it gets to softwer problems.
