Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
Do you have any info or part numbers of the sensor? I have seen 3bar sensors on eBay that are 3bar of boost - so essentially 4bar. You need a 2bar (~30psi) of boost sensor.

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
that sounds about the same out that mine was!
and yeah altitude does effect it, but you'd have to be pretty different to get more than 3-4 kpa change!
I have a 3 bar sensor in the Gemini, and it sees 102.2 kpa at key on!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
Problem solved. Thanks for all the advice. I bit the bullet and bought a new map sensor and sure enough it was just that. I am amazed that 2 different brands of sensor would have exactly the same amount of error. Both read 113.2 kPa key on engine off and I just happened to have both of them. It sits now on 102 kPa so I'm very happy with that.
Is there a 3 bar ADX that will show target VE?

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
Did you buy another identical one or a different brand/part number? If you have the part numbers or brand of the working and not working it might be useful for others to get the right sort.
EDIT: 12P V111 zip now has a 3bar ADX with VE calc

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
The other sensors were part numbers
6150911190093 and 10030600125
However upon close look they also had other numbers exactly the same so my guess they were sold via different sellers but from the same factory in China my guess. I have attached 2 pictures of the markings that may help others.
If you want me to put the pictures somewhere else let me know.
Thanks for the info on the ADX. I will download the latest version and get back into the tuning.

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
another thing I've found with the cheap shit ones is the bit inside the plug hole falls out, the bit that has the tabs in it so you can only put 3 bar plug into it.

Re: Help with 12P 3 bar
All working great guns now.
I am using VL400's 3 bar VE calculating logging but had to change the packet offset to 0x2D to match the current VE plus give it a name and set both range high to 110. I hope this is correct I just looked at the 2 bar logger and worked it out from there. Please let me know if it's correct or not.
