OS Segment & relating CVN

OS Segment & relating CVN
For the newer controllers all the software(or even snap-on scan tool) I've seen have a CVN in relation to the OS calibration segment & had a look though the file's & can see the calibration ID in the file but not sure what CVN is or what importance it has I can only assume it's checksum or something as there's nothing in ASCII or HEX around the segment area.

Yeah its a CRC16 in the body of the bin, and then the regular sum includes the CRC as well.
