Right...

It looks like there are ways around this, http://mhhauto.com/Thread-das-pass-thru-avdi-interface but this is a fair way over my head... I have a drewtech cardaq M.

To clarify what Im trying to do here is use 'Xentry/DAS' (merc software) to recode a SAM module.

Just skimmed through the posts.

So install the DAS software installed (Version...?? Dunno??), copy in the cal/slave files to where it installed and double click the install das PT file.

Should then be able to open up DAS and use your drewtech as the passthrough. Theres a file in that thread for the drewtech cardaq plus :)

Thanks for taking a look Tazzi

I've followed everything I can work out in that post but the cardaq isn't discoverable in the SDtoolkit... One post makes mention of adding the files to the correct locations (CAL.INI and SLAVE.INI) but searching my pc I can't find files named that to replace?...

Xentry/DAS version is current as of 3/2017

Cheers.

This is where the cmd file saves them to:
copy cal.ini "C:\Programme\DAS\BIN\cal.ini"
copy SLAVE.ini "C:\Programme\DAS\BIN\driver\SLAVE.ini"

But.. thats going to be wrong because its made for a different language hence the 'Programme'.

Im guessing you would need to chuck them in here??

Also the only difference I can see in the files is the name of the device.

So the cardaq one says: "Drew Technologies Inc. - CarDAQ PLUS"

May need to double check if that is the exact name of your device when plugged into the laptop?

If there a desktop icon, can you right click on that, and select 'open location' or 'go to location'. Its one of those... it should take you to the install directory. Need to go to where that DAS software installs to.
