Nissan V9X immo off issue

Post by Gareth »

Hi all,

as the title suggest, I have a V9x turbo diesel V6 engine from a 2012 Nissan Navara that is fitted to a Jeep. Requires the immobiliser to be deleted (we currently have the engine running and driving with the old key and modules dummied up in the car). The PCM is believed to be a Bosch EDC16 unit.
I have sent the file to a few 3rd party file modifiers and all have come back and said that it is not possible?... :wtf: So I was wondering if anyone on here would have any ideas as what to do next.

here are the files
v9x first read eeprom.bin

v9x first read flash.bin
(2 MiB) Downloaded 433 times

I can offer no help, but will offer comment and say the V9X is an awesome engine. :)

I haven't looked into the edc16 enough yet, I know with the edc17 it seems very possible...
Sorry if need to look into it further, finished mapping out the ranger as best poss, now looking at the Isuzu dmax mapping.

As you can see the PCM makes no reference on the label to EDC16, only came to that conclusion via a google search...

Didn't need to google, just search in file off the controller it tells you the exact file type...

Then search EDC16CP42 immo & hopefully the answer is out there.
