Green top injector flow rate

Post by VX L67 Getrag »

So it is commonly known that green top injectors are 42Lb.

The research I found green top part number is 0 280 155 968 & at common test pressure they flow at 29Lb, so compared to the stock L67 at the common test pressure rate at 34Lb.

I'm just checking as I want to know the better injectors to use!

Ti performace have data here https://www.tiperformance.com.au/produc ... gKJsPD_BwE

I'll mirror the files here incase they dissapear. It confirms they're 42lb at 3.5 bar.

What the internets generally knows as a Bosch Green Top is 0 280 150 558, the old EV1 style. These were factory fitted on Ford SVT lightnings and are 42lb. Had the1 test some for me a few years back and they flowed 49lb @ 55PSI (3.8 bar, which is what I was using them at).

Its hard to find genuine later style bosch injectors too, the copies appear pretty good on the outside but can be fairly hit and miss in terms of flow and pattern.

Those plastic body ones there's plenty that are Chinese that jam shut under high pressure when you hit boost and shit .they are also twin spray for 4 valve engines its split v spray to hit both valves .if used in a single valve application they tend to just spray fuel on the port walls
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Ahh there in may lie the issue,0-280-155-968 rate around 15% less than 0-280-150-968.

So I guess the green tops are 150 & not 155?

So what are the 0280155968 green injectors ?
Not Bosch 42lbers ?
I had The1 check a set recently that I purchased from a seller claiming they were genuine Bosch 42lb Green Giants.
They seem to come up well with his testing of them.
