Pics are old at various stages.

1st major build it rolled on sprintmasters & was powered by a wild triple webbered 202/m20/3.90 bango ran best of 13.1 with wheelspin at old Eastern Creek track & managed to bust everything from flywheel to diff housing in 6cyl guise

2nd build was v8 conversion & tubs etc

Last build started to build big banger 355 then things turned to shit dealing with businesses etc...lost interest in cars, locked it in garage where it got damaged in storage.

Had this thing over 20 years so is due for much needed rebuild after other cars are done.

Got couple of other cars but Gtr has most sentimental value having owned it since 18-19 years old.

Got an asteroid silver Vk Executive 5 years ago that's put together from leftover parts/scraps...needs bootfloor welded in then can get back into making it run.
Relied on others for welding so looks like poor vk will get practised on or it will never be finished.

Just recently bought cheap Vp v6 t5 ute for house reno/daily duties...has every common fault of that era commodore...damn thing doing my head in fixing it for rego haha

This is the non-delco ride.

vh sle
355ci f280 harrop single plane 750dp holley black
trimatic 4500 rpm stally
Spooled 9" 4.56

It was bit of a pig to drive & with badly set up rear up it was unpredictable...for awhile it was only driving car I had untill pulled it apart & got vp bunky ute

Tune on it is quite decent...got tonne of grunt for 750dp f280 355ci yet cruises nicely with big stally & steep gears.

NFI why I keep mucking around with bunky vp v6 ute instead of this.
