Seeing what can be done with a newer US GM V6 pcm
Unsure if others are interested but here's a dump from a 12209614 pcm

Bcc: YCYA, 2003, 3400cc, LA1 v6
OSID: 12587904

The main aim is to see if i can get this running on an older 6 cyl without to much effort, fairly cheap and plentiful from the US (in my spare time, maybe a viable replacement for 3.8ecu/pcm and maybe sd tune? antitheft shouldn't be to painful for vt onwards and have it working).
Possible choice between 3 coil packs with wasted spark ignition or coil over plug.
crank trigger seems easy enough, depending on what code, 3x and 24x pulse (+ cam position sensor)

So far:

VIN 0x401A - 0x402A
VATS type 0x07D21A (checksum add 0x070ED0)

that PCM already runs 3100,3400, shortstar(RPO-LX5) and 3800 V6's out of the box. all of the spark and fuel tables only go to 6400 rpm's, but that covers most people out there.

I've got a pretty extensive thread listing all of the pinouts, and many options of the OS. not sure how much of the different systems can be combined or transferred between platforms though.

there's also a couple of different tuning options too, Tiny Tuner, and DHP(out of buisness, but the software is out there) both tune this PCM.

I attached a bin from a 3.8 supercharged the either uses this PCM, or a PCM that interchanges with it.

I've been lazy on this... did find a suitable tune for it months back and had given up the idea of using the first posted bin file... might drop an engine in the old parts bomb and start playing soon....

Have had other more important priorities unfortunately, any idea on what injector impedance these can safely run? might be viable for the aftermarket propane/alcohol injectors i have sitting here with great intentions of using on a stock ecu/pcm for vapour injection.

never really gave it any thought, my injectors are 12.5 ohm.
