Thanks mate. I found an VS ecotec auto memcal in stock.
Once my eraser turns up I'll do the front door mod and then try again.

What version is the VS 3 V8 based on? Noticed the factory auto ones had some different shift points in the auto bin's.

I burnt the enhanced bin to a standard eprom. Only mods were bit more timing in some area's.
Ran it in my mate's 2000 model VS3 ute. It had the CYJN memcal in it which I noticed was recalled.

With the new memcal fitted it ran and drove fine but was down on power and auto was not kicking back.
I compared the different auto tunes and there's lots of differences but wouldn't of thought they'd make it run like that.
Another thing in the back of my head is that I only had the eprom under my uv light for 10 minute's.
It was pointed out to me in another thread that it might not of been enough?

I did compare the read afterwards and tuner pro brought up 0 bytes different.
I noticed the DRRRS is a 195kw version this ute is standard 180kw. I've copied the CYJN differences into the enhanced bin to see what happens next time.
Auto shift points and power enrichment and injector multiplier were different. I'm really surprised this wasn't compatible. I thought they were very compatible.
Still not ruling out me doing something wrong. CYJN was recalled but I don't know why. Its listed as the first VS3 tune and DRRS is the last tune.
Might try and see if they changed transmissions over this period.

This is the bin as I read it back. Going into a ute running CYJN.

the recall as far as i know was due to a restart bug, basicly leaving the car unable to start at next keyon, was random.

the differences between standard and 195kw arn't much, mainly just a little bit of spark and shift patterns, it's a better base bin for sure and also has the fixs in it so hence why i used it for enhanced. Working fine on other VS V8's

Your bin looks ok to me.

ive released 0.82 for VS V8, fixed the MAF tables in the XDF, few changes with ADX and put the stock V8 MAF tables in with the linear curve. I doubt that would have caused any issues but give it a go.
