I'm having the same problem as the start of this thread, Idle is not my issue, when I pull out on the road if I don't accelerate the car will start to gain speed and rpm on its own. it idles perfect sitting still for as long as you want. only when you start to move does it do this. It will gain up to 1600 rpm without ever touching the accelerator throw it up in neutral and it goes right back to 800 rpm idle.

Sorry for the late reply Dylan, Work called me away for awhile. Anyway I found my problem to be a sticking throttle, I have a 1200 cfm mono blade throttle body so it doesn't take much to make it accelerate. it appears if I very gently let off of the throttle it wasn't closing all of the way. So another learning experience.

There is a setting for the speed at which idle mode is engaged and a scalar for map as well. If either if these dont suit your application it'll run in normal mode and tends to pull more than you would expect at slow speeds but above 5kph. On my car, with my driving style i tend to roll to a stop and just apply a touch of brake at the end. I upped the idle speed from 5kph to 20kph so when im going slow enough it doesnt pull. With big cams you'll need to find the map setting as well.. Im not sure what its called. If you have no speed sensor then that will come in to play but ive not run with that combination to see the results. When logging watch the idle mode flag to see if its pulling to hard when its not set and your expecting to roll slowly.
