I have started a new thread in 12P. The logging confirms V8 with both NVRAM and the memcal.antus wrote:Put the nvram on j and try 6 and 8. If it runs better with the wrong setting its mistuned for the wrong netres. Either way please start a new thread with a brief description of where your at next post to keep this one on topic for general 11p questions.

Re: OSE 11P V104
Hi guys I'm using 11p on a late vs 5litre auto has any body had any problems with transmission shifts etc its bang feels like converter is locking top gear etc I'm wondering if its a cal problem or maybe the different models transmissions are wired differently? the vehicle has now started to bring memcal code 51 up no matter what device i burn the tune on to something seems to be corrupting the mescal the transmission was playing up prior to the mescal code weather they are related or not my next step is to unplug the transmission round plug and see if my memcal code goes away?

Re: OSE 11P V104
The later trans has a soft lockup using a second solenoid. Its all the engage/release rates and operating point parameters. Its not setup in the base 11P bins as they are from the early trans.
With code 51 errors sounds like the EPROM might be either not erased fully or its failing. Its a checksum at boot of just the operating code section, so if that happens all bets are off as to how it will run!

Hi vl400 spot on m8 i worked out the converter part of the tune and changed the settings you just mentioned and fixed that problem as for the memcal code i dont know what was going on i think my laptop may have been
corrupting the data etc when i saved the tune file ? Its pretty old and Done some work so I just set up another laptop with 11p and started from scatch using exact same ostrich and memcal adaptor and redid tune from scatch and its perfect drives good for a 235/245 108lsa cam in a 304ci with std diff gears - good job on the custom code

Re: OSE 11P V104
looking at 11p i can see shift pressure scalars for 1-3,1-4,2-4 but no 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 usually in VR Bins the first set is 0psi and second set is 3psi, were they not in 11p? the options were in stock VR bins. I can't see in the 11p xdf but the calc is normally just X. Good work on 11p, thanks for the hard to produce it.

Re: OSE 11P V104
Yeah they are just for the skip/jump shift code, what are the names of the ones you are looking at in the stock vr bin? Under normal and performance are the pressure offsets per gear if that is what you are after?
Re: OSE 11P V104
Yeh there for jump shift, there is also ones for normal shifting.

They were first introduced in the VS (not sure about the VS V8 running a '424 PCM, certainly in VS V6 $51 bins) and are on the ToDo list to add them to 11P.

Re: OSE 11P V104
Just making sure on this one.
I am setting up 11P on my VR and to turn ON the cars security I just untick these two boxes.
I just want to make sure.
Can anybody tell me how I can do a screen dump from Tunerpro to here? I have to put it into a work doc.
