i have to do this with my supplies, i give up random chips in each batch to do a 1000cycle script test on them and make sure there upto the task. They 28pin chips are getting harder to find in old stock.

They did not come from Ebay , but from a local supplier and are supposed to be from Moates.
The supplier is going to sort it out , however much time has been lost in tacking the issue down.

Yeah, for current IC production you'd have to use the PLCC32 version (GLS27SF512-70-3C-NHE) with something like the following adaptor (beware, pins may be too thick, in which case you'd have to replace them) : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281672748217The1 wrote:They 28pin chips are getting harder to find in old stock.
