Anybody see anything weird with my .bin that would make the fan come on all the time?

Does it think (wrongly or otherwise), the A/C is on?

if it comes on as soon as you turn the key on that's usually a corrupt bin or write to memcal

I have worked on the chip several times and this has been a problem from the first day. I have changed the programming many times and changed the chip 3 times. it does the same thing. It doesn't come on instantly with the key, it comes on after the engine has been running about 10 seconds. I looked at everything that I know of on the AC and all looks good to me but I could be missing something. The AC is not even installed on the car right now. this is not really hurting anything it just takes a while to warm up. I just want to know what I am missing. Anyway thanks for the input.

you really need a data log of the coolant sensor when this happens, that's about the only thing that will cause the fan to come on after 10 seconds that I can think of.

After looking at a log of a drive around the block it appears that it thinks the AC is on. I don't see anyway to turn this off, The AC compressor is not on the car at the moment but I have all intentions of putting it back on before next summer. How can I turn this off?

Are you running the 165 ecu or the aussie 808 ecu?

You could temporary remove the wire from terminal B8 on the ecu to see if the fan stays off. If it does then you know it's an aircon problem but if it still comes on you will have to look somewhere else.
