Well im not having much success reading any data from ecu .
Ive tried a 3082 single wire ,808 h/speed mod, tried using tunerpro ,megatunix and access port.
I can only assume ive not copied / converted the s19 file properly even though the iac motor retracts and then comes back out on power up , as Jay said it should .If anyone has a working bin file can you compare this bin with yours and check it for me please.

I had a try of this today, I also couldnt get any comms out of it. Using the adx and TP5, and with a serial monitor I could see data being written, but nothing was coming back :(

Hi,
Looking at your log Ant, I noticed 0x73 which is an old command, it looks like the adx on github maybe the wrong version. I will look into this further. thanks!

The adx is wrong for sure. i'll dig out the right one from another machine here, however MTX should work fine, all I use is a good old 808 with a ttl converter board $5 from ebay 2 wires + power / gnd patched into the pcb as per a post on here.

Its a shame this firmware was not taken further :( It had real promise for those wanting aftermarket ECU feel and features on factory hardware.

Just found this great piece of software last night! Spent some this morning fixing the serial routine and now you can connect via a terminal and send S to get 'PIS firmware (C) 2010 Jason Roughley. pis.controller@gmail.com' back. Now we have a working comms link!

I've bench tested it and both ignition and fueling signals seem correct and vary with map and rpm as expected.

Just need to adjust the tunerpro connection command and we'll be able to read/write to the cal.

I've attached everything you need to compile this source on a windows machine (I'm on win10). Instructions in the txt file. I've included GCC and Make in there.

I hope the respective owners don't mind the post here! I'm not sure how to update github but if anyone wants to do it for me or walk me through it, we'll update the source to include the serial fix and adx fix. Can't wait to see what becomes of this!
