Thank's antus... i been looking for them drawings ... i tried a cruise control = way too slow response for a generator...
also i could not get a program in the 16269238-DTCF i have to run the injectors ...
so i have gone back to a 16199728-CKUL programmed to idle 1500 .. works but again a bit too slow ... im thinking of wiring the IAC to the
stepper on the butterfly .. mabee it might work .. also i have been looking at a stand-alone PID controller ... i picked up a 100Ltr drop tank last week ...
prety much have most of it now....i dunno .. havn't had much time to tinker lately.. melted holes in my saab pistons so im rebuilding that at the moment before winter.... necessities first...!

Are you using a standard TB or a machined one? stock ones have a flat spot in the first 10% or so due to that funky machining and therefore are a bit lazy. Also tuning wise stock ecotec are lazy to respond on top of that.

I would try that before dismissing the cruise control entirely.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

The improved response comes from the machined TB. The factory TB has extra material in the bottom side that basically keeps the bottom of the butterfly covered until it's opened about 15°. Holden did this specifically to reduce throttle response. If you have a die grinder it's fairly easy to remove or test the theory with the TB of your M90.

the m90 is bolted to a L36 with 1.8:1 roller rockers.... otherwise stock ... currently sitting on a stand half rebuilt.......
do you think it would be better for the GEN...?

Can't hurt to test it on the generator and see if it goes you the response you need on it.

question .... can i still use the CKUL4113 $51 16199728 PCM
and program it with something like ... CNPM3196 $A5 16233396 Series I Supercharged V6 ...

to run the sc engine ... or do i need a 16233396 PCM .... ? ( without changing any wiring .... or is the I/O and pinout diffferent...? )

is all the PCM's with pink connectors wired the same...?

You don't need to change the tune to use the TB. In a car the tune needs to be changed to suit the auto transmission but seeing as you don't have one of those just bolt it on and see if it does what you want.
