if my calculations are correct its 75Hz 12V square wave to the cruise control and switch to the tach signal once enabled and then it should drive the engine up to 1500 and take over from there.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

actually that sounds alright ... i will hit the wreckers tomorrow and see if i can find one ....

Get one from a VS since they are the older larger type like those in VN to VR and I know for a fact how they work and respond. I don't know how well the later small delphi units work, as with anything with these cars the older stuff is generally less restrained and more aggressive.

I reckon it should work well as the cruise control will pull the engine to high loads quick if the generator is loaded up a lot.

what is the tacho from the DFI...? 3 pulses/rev..?

i have got hold of the complete cruise control , wiring harness , stick ... ETC... and PCM with brown and tan connectors .. i think from VY V6 ..
does anyone have a wiring diagram for VY PCM ... with connector pins and wire colours ...
i can't find a complete drawing anywhere .... !! thank's ...

could anyone please tell me which pin on the DTCF 16269238 PCM is diag test (C9..???) , also CEL .... ??
i have sussed cruise control and nearly everything else....
