we've just been discussing pcm differences over in this thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5254&start=20#p77676
The1 mentioned that v6 n/a computer doesnt have variable speed pump control but is otherwise the same. If your doing an engine transplant and not planning on using the variable speed pump control you'll be ok, will just need to flash a s/c enhanced bin on a memcal and plug that in.

Thank's ant .. i can't tell much diference in these PCM's ... im not using variable pump ...
when i get the sc engine on the test stand in a coupla week's i will try it and let you know......
mabee a dual tb manifold would be a novelty for my gen ... ?

just an update for those interested ... i have tried several ways to go about throttle control , i have come back to using the ECU and the factory ISC
... it has the fastest response time (better than the cummings governor) it holds speed +/- 50-100 rpm or so when dumping 14KW on and off ...
that's only about 3Hz ... i have it basically installed and running the whole property through an auto C/O transfer switch .... im fairly happy with it so far ...
any thoughts pls let me know....

Nice job, glad it worked out.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

runs sweet....i scored a 100 ltr ally tank... i think it sucks around 2ltr / hour.... but not 100% sure yet ....

engine is fully rebuilt ... 20 thou oversize.. rings,full bearings.. recon everything .. and for sale in adelaide ,make me an offer..
can hear running...going to replace with SC V6...

I see you did a vlad spec there with marking the bolts and screws. :lol: :thumbup:

What are those rocker cover bolt seals over the factory one splitting
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
