Hi guys , is there any write up or information on the knock control for this ECU , VY l67.
I need to turn down the Knock sensitivity if possible ??
I am using The1's enhanced factory code for this vehicle.
Thanks zspanners.
vy l67 timing and knock control.
Re: vy l67 timing and knock control.
have a read of the enhanced pdfs, use KAL and you can use Ignore time tables to dumb it down a bit, obviously highly recomended to use another knock sensing device you can tune to ignore time to a safe level, try 2.8 for a starting point with a cam.

Hi The1 , thanks I will have a look at this.
Quick query , Ignore time v RPM and ESC - Ignore Time Durring HI CYLAIR Downshift Vs RPM .
I assume the the first table is the one you refer to and the second table appears to be in a downshift mode and may not need adjustment??.

Yes the first table will be the one you need to put some effort into the downshift usually isn't to much of a problem but depends on rpm limit and valve train setup.

Hi The1 thank you yes this is what I have discovered.
I have managed to get better spark control and limited the Knock retard issues to end up with stable spark control and no detonation.
However I believe that I am at the limit of what this vehicle will achive without further hardware mods IE Exhaust/mufflers.
Thanks for your help.
