NVRAM problems

Post by dusto »

Hi all,

I've recently bought a pcmhacking NVRAM for my vy l67, I sent my the1 enhanced bin file to be loaded on.
I cant connect to the car, i keep getting a connection error where it asks me to check the settings connection etc.
I also get a DTC for memcal error 51.
im starting to think this is because i haven't used one of vl400 modified ones?
hope some one can help get me connected, I bought the nvram because my eprom burner died.

ok so i now read that the1 enhanced bin is fine with the NVRAM,

Im using an EnviousCustoms aldl cable which i used to flash my dash, it works fine when i was logging straight through the com port.

In the ose flash application it takes a lot of trys to find heart beat and when it does it returns a ECU/PCM unknown

You need to hit the initialize emulation hardware button than quickly hit connect.

Error 51 means no code is operating on the nvram could be corrupted or it's fitted wrong

are both jumpers on VT on the nvram? Also in your screenshot the com port hasn't been selected in oseflashtool, are you using the correct version of oseplugin in tunerpro it should be 1.50.

There is a guide here for oseplugin "Tunerpro RT Datalogging & OSEPlugin Guide.pdf"
