Using $11p to control boost solenoid

Post by v6psi gem »

Hello

Just wondering if it would be possible (and what I would need to do) to use a boost solenoid to control boost levels?
I am using $11p and 3bar map to run a Vk with a turbo ecotec/4l60e on e85.
I did notice a flexible output folder but have no idea on changing code

Cheers

have a look at the tuning guides in my signature below, they should provide you the info you need on flex tables.

Thanks for that, got stuck looking in posts and forgot the how to guides.
So would I be correct to say that we can only request the duty cycle of the solenoid and not the actual boost levels? So as to be able to have ecu lower boost if motor decided to overboost for any reason

you could use the map sensor as an axis and set it to higher duty cycle for low map levels and lower it as it gets to your targetted level .... im not sure how well it will work but you can only try.
