Changing from 1st to 2nd

Post by FXST01 »

When changing gears from 1st to 2nd, my car gets 'boggy'?

What areas of the memcal should I be looking at to remedy this?

Car in question is VP V6 auto

OK, I'm looking at S1MAIN and F60 maps, do they need to go up or down? and by how much would be a safe starting point?

Using an old Foamy tune that he put on the JC site. Think he converted a VR for use in the VNs. (Memory going here)

Going by the EPROM ID 5088 its a VR BLCD, i use this one as it has lean cruise in it.

throw that in the bin and load up a BAAM0265 LOL the vr bins need days of work to run anywhere as good as the stock baam tune its probably a lot of your problem in itself

OK done that, so which way for the spark and fuel?

Only thing done to the motor is:
Headers, 1.72 RR, Gas injection (still dual Fuel) and CAI (+filter)

Is it possible to add lean cruise mode into this BAAM memcal? Are there enough physical addresses left to enter it?

I have a couple of erasable eproms to make the changes.
