Youtube Blog/Tutorial Videos

Post by The1 »

Just an idea, not that i have time atm but just for discussion. Not that i want my ugly mug on camera but would provide better information, perhaps like a Q&A once there is a few in the thread a video can be done, not that im an expert but will get discussion going and end result better information for all. Get alot of the common questions and howto's on video makes it easier for alot of people than reading howto's and books.

Yeah I do agree. A picture paints a thousand words and all that! The thought had crossed my mind as well, but the issue is the time to make it, and who wants to be on it!

wouldn't this be more a matter of screen capturing with a voice over than your mug on the screen ?

what sort of thing would people be interested in? On camera Q and A or computer screen with voiceover, obviously the case with tutorials.

If people can get questions posted in here than it gives us a starter.

Im thinking for a starter, what's an NVram, what's a memcal, what's datalogging, general basics which you can point people to get a 101 of what it is we do.

When reading the post about repinning the loom to convert between a VR auto '424 and '808 was thinking a quick video would be ideal in showing how to remove the pins.

Other things like TP guides (logging, RT tuning, ADX/XDF editing) could be useful.

How to add xdf pramaters from one xdf to another, as in the closed loop options from the vs v8 xdf into the vt v8 and where to find the addresses for them?

A walk through of the basics on TP would have been helpful. How to set up, connect, log, make changes etc

This would be great! I learn much better by watching than reading instructions.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
