i'll buy one just cause to make up numbers if needed.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Speedo Correctors
If they discontinued to replace a newer kit that's even better. The original kit could be made so small if they used SMD components and used a 2 layer PCB

Re: Speedo Correctors
I can make 2 versions of the JayCar Kit if there's demand for it.
First one which is exactly identical to the Jaycar one (using through hole components).
Second one which uses all SMD components and is 1/4 - 1/5th the size.
Only issue is the 1st one would cost a lot more to make because of the pcb size so that may take longer to get done.
The circuit itself is pretty straightforward.
Duno what the story will be with copyright though. Pretty sure the 1st version may be an issue...

Re: Speedo Correctors
A mate showed me the new version in their print catalogue just recently - the old one would have been discontinued as its not the same itemkrusty wrote:Kit is discontinued and NLA. I bought the last stock afaik

Re: Speedo Correctors
It seemed illogical that they'd zero out stock and not supersede it. If you find a link maybe throw it up but my local Jaycar are still unaware of a replacementVK_3800 wrote:A mate showed me the new version in their print catalogue just recently - the old one would have been discontinued as its not the same itemkrusty wrote:Kit is discontinued and NLA. Re: Speedo Correctors
Depends if it's worth the cost, prob not with the new one being $39. So far yet though the code doesn't return anything on both wholesale or retail sites. Must still be gathering stock.tav wrote:I can make 2 versions of the JayCar Kit if there's demand for it.
