808 12p vss in tunerpro

Post by Wade »

While logging in tunerpro yesterday. I noticed the road speed in tunerpro dash was reading 17km/h but we were doing 100km/h on the cars cluster. Cars a 5litre vq caprice with an 808 on 12p auto. Is that normal or is the vss bad.

something else is wrong though, even if the speed input into the ecu is multiplied by 5 its still only 85kms, but yeah, change the PPK in the tune to suit x 5 plus the difference of whatever else has changed, diff gears etc.

I would also get a phone gps and compare it to the actualy speedo, you might actually be going 15km too fast!

Pretty sure I already did change the ppk to suit vn. I know the speedo is out by around 10-15km/h as well. The wheels are too big on his car

check the PPK in the tune, if its 1250 then its VN spec, make it 7188 should be pretty close to what it should be for the wheels and multiplied by 5.

i wouldn't expect it to see 17km in the ecu if it was at 6248 though ?
