Vy v6 turbo
What’s everyone else getting out of there v6 turbo’s? Mine is 100% stock ecotec running 7psi, l67 injectors, walbro intank pump, l67 enhanced untuned yet. Even running the stock exhaust. Power seems down to me

Re: Vy v6 turbo
Anyone know roughly when the l67 injectors run out of puff? In the enhanced adx it’s got injector duty cycle but doesn’t seem to be working in my logs
Re: Vy v6 turbo
I'm not surprised by those power numbers

nor am I considering its got a walbro. Those pumps are 99% of the time are fake and fail quick or flow less than stock out of the box. Seen several engines die due to the walbros actually more accurately fakes sold as genuine.

The pump should be genuine I brought it through vpw not off eBay. I’ve had issues with fake pumps before. That’s why I always try to buy from a reputable company. Although all vpw’s proflow stuff is shit

Thinking about putting the spartan wideband and 80lb Siemens in this weekend. Maybe than I’ll see if the pumps keeping up. Knock doesn’t seem an issue as it would be with a fake pump, so who knows

Thats the issue though, You can't trust any outlet now as even the supply chain gets dodgy fakes slipped in here and there. Only way to get a genuine is buy direct from the manufacture.
A good pump that hasn't been copied yet as far known is the aeromotive pumps. They do a GM in tank type as well.

I’m thinking the gtech reads low. This is a run I did with the vy clubby. It’s got under 100k on the clock catback twin 2.5” exhaust, otr and mafless tune. Only putting out 170kw. That seems low as fuck for what it is

Re: Vy v6 turbo
yeah thing about the knock is I know a guy who blew up 4 ecotecs in a row, and there was no detectable knocks and it was N/A and pretty stock as well. Just was under powered and then randomly smashed the pistons on all the engines. Culprit was a "genuine" walbro.
