yeah I've seen similar prices for 98 ....

its pretty good considering you use approx. 1.5 times as much as petrol, does the car seem faster than on petrol ?

You have to factor in that the M90 is pretty shithouse in terms of blower performance and efficiency, especially when over driven.

If it was centrifugal SC or top mount screw type SC it would be better, and turbo a lot better again. So the numbers you got arn't too out of the ordinary for the setup.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

well ive got them down a bit more with using closed loop, i just struggle to get the open loop contestant enough in the cruise areas, car goes heaps better then on 98. As Vlad said the M90 is going for blowing hot air and e85 is good for cooling it, ive gone a bit overboard already with impulse pcmhacking forum purchase, (Cam, rockers, heads) i may as well just do the turbo setup, i mean i am a boilermaker so manifolds and piping is my thing,

Yeah I'm not spending money on the m90. I already have fmic and wastegates. So I really need to grab a gt35 fab a manifold and just go.

Sorry to change the subject. What’s involved in changing to e85? Fuel pumps, injectors, filter, fuel lines and change the fuelling by around 25% ect?

I’m finding that I’m really knock limited with pulp 98 and by the time I remove timing the car runs like a pig around 3000 to 4000rpm

Maybe we need to start a dedicated E85 conversion thread with a basic run down of what's required in term of both fuel system and tuning changes?

Using E85 to cover knock without a dyno to monitor torque gained/ loss is not a great idea. Feed back of 98 on road tune/ log is a handy thing.

Remember that the more efeccient a cylinder is, the less timing it will use most of the time so probably means you need to run less timing and more boost
