4l60e tune needed

Post by BARBS »

Hi all.

Does anyone have a $11p tune that has been proven in a +500hp car?
I am struggling with my tune and it would be great to have a decent one as reference.

Hi 202.

I have smashed 3 transmissions in 12 months with my setup.
I'd just like to be able to eliminate my tune from being the issue if possible.
I understand the force motor tables etc but would like to compare the modifiers and such to make sure I am not killing the 3/4 clutches in the tune.

are these built boxs or stock box's, stock wouldn't last to long with that HP.

Best state of tune for that combo would be to let the trans builder sort it out with his hard parts set up and shift kit. All the trans tune should need is commanded shift duration times to match the mechanical capability. Spend the time getting things right especially on the 2-3 shift of course

I don't have +500 though that's my problem. I am 350hp at the wheels and smashing transmissions like no tomorrow!

It's torque that kills them is it stock boxes fresh rebuilds or built boxes that you keep killing are you just burning up clutches or breaking hard parts do they shift properly sometimes hard shifts arnt actually hard shifts its the previous gear not releasing fast enough and tempory binding of 2 gears

Thanks delcowiz
The box was apparently a built version but I can't confirm that until I pull it down. I had to buy rather than build due to time limitations.
What I am planning now is buy a heap of hard parts myself and install them. From there I'll know what is in there atleast.
It keeps doing the 3/4 clutch pack on me! Shifts aren't hard at all under part throttle with the 3500 stall. I didn't get the chance to do any WOT stuff. I was still tuning AFR and the 3/4 pack failed me.
