Yeah I've seen those. $8.5K for a repro manifold. I hope they sell well and hope that whomever holds the patents doesn't come calling.

Sorry guys.

Yes I have seen the repro manifolds that are trying to be produced. He has got as far as making the plenum covers and secondary throttle body castings. Primary throttle is a Ford XF Falcon (6 cyl). The manifold and ram tubes haven’t been produced as yet. I just saw tonight he has had a plenum spacer or similar to suit a Holley LS manifold.

On another note.
I get to me Delcowizzid in just over a weeks time.
Car is hitting the dyno for tuning and to sort the idles out. Can not wait. Delcowizzid is sussing out some LS injectors for me, recommend due to the factory ones possibly maxing out.
I’m currently fitting a new clutch just peace of mind.

Can anyone help me out with clutch cable lengths?
Is the V6 cable longer than the V8?

Fixed a few little issues and tweaked up a tune and after nearly a whole day the vl is all smooth and grunty and back at the other end on the island haha

So what was the story of the IAC and the idle issues? What did you find?

Just needed a vacum hose to the reg and tuned really. Once I had it running good enough to idle I closed the throttlebody down till it had around 16 steps at hot idle finished tuning it took it for a lap with the owner driving to make sure it behaved he was happy job done
